Preseason kicks off with questions aplenty

Preseason training has begun for the Columbus Crew. The roster has been shored up with the addition of SuperDraft selections Dilly Duka and Bright Dike and with the official return of Guillermo Barros Schelotto, yet questions remain. The most pressing issue is undoubtedly goal production.

Mystery man revealed as Colombian striker Sergio Herrera»

The Columbus Crew have signed Sergio Herrera, a source familiar with the matter confirmed to ASN Friday, Feb. 5. The 28-year old boasts an impressive goal scoring record in the Colombian, Brazilian and Saudi leagues. He has been training with the team in Florida.

The two-time defending MLS Supporters’ Shield-winning Columbus Crew today selected five players in the 2010 MLS SuperDraft, held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia.
